YES. I decided to draw one of my old OC's, [link] an ancient serpent (dragon) deity, from a random crossover-story I've had with my friends a few years ago.
The story took place in New York, modern time and alternate universe, where Earth was an anomaly, like a crossroads, a place where all other worlds met and a few people had the ability to call other creatures from different worlds and bond with them, although it usually happened by accident and sometimes caused a lot of trouble, since some creatures didn't like being ripped out of their homeworlds and were dangerous.
Al was "born on Earth", a shape-shifting deity of sky, wind and rebirth from mayan-aztec-inca-like civilization, who was awakened by a human teenager. He was one of the major protagonists in the story, and his role was to take his place as one of the guardian gods of the world and protect it, since it was his turn, but that was where the trouble began...
He's somewhat different from my other OC's since his body is made of stone and he's basically a golem. He can turn into a human, a horse and a raccoon, however.
I had the old picture of this dragon in my favorites for some time and randomly decided to look at the page its from today...My god the amount of progression you've made sense the first one is insane. Keep up the fantastic work.
I really like your style of colouring, it's so simple yet it looks really cool You may well be responsible for me trying a different colouring technique!

Most people go for either the western or asian dragon route and completely gloss over aztec mythology for inspiration.
